PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Clothing
Make sure that you wear clothes that don´t prevent movement and without straps or bands that will tighten uncomfortably around your body. I would also recommend that you don´t use clothes of synthetic material because it might make you glide in the poses. It is possible to change here before the classes.
Before class
The yoga studio is open 20 min before class and you are welcome to arrive early. The classes will start on time.
Food
It is not advisable to eat big meals less than two hours before doing yoga, not because it´s dangerous but it can be quite uncomfortable. If you should need to eat something right before the classes make sure it´s small and light.
Equipment / studio
The yoga studio is equipped with mats, blankets, etc. You can bring water into the yoga studio but all other kinds of food and drink has to stay outside. There are no shoes in the yoga studio. Personal affects and valuables can be left in the entrance hall, the door will be locked.
Responsibility
The practice of yoga is about listening to your own body and to use the techniques in a responsable way. When you participate in courses at Bambous Yoga or use the techniques you have learned with us on your own you are responsible for taking care of your own body and capabilities. Bambous Yoga is not responsible for injuries you might get when performing yoga. Before starting a course you need to sign a form that states the above. If you should have physical injuries, pains or limitations please tell the teacher (advices for adjustments will be given), and remember it is always possible to skip an exercise.
